new favorite music player for linux

Well, I used to swear by XMMS for a music player.. then I decided I wanted some nifty features like better KDE integration and updates (that’s where the last listened links came from on the right), so I decided to try out Amarok again. It’s great! It has all sorts of nifty features, like automatically trying to figure out what music (within your collection) you’d like based on what you’re listening to, automatic lyric and cover downloading, etc. In any case, if you’re still an old-fashioned XMMS user (like I was up until a few days ago), and a KDE user, give it a shot!
